Well, good news is I am feeling some better!!! I actually went to work today for the first time in almost 4 months and it was nice. I am starting out slow, and just working a few hours at a time. I have a VERY understanding boss - Praise God for that!!!! I also have been able to work a little bit and am getting some normalcy back....playing with the kiddos, getting back into Bible study, and even a date with my hubby.
Saturday night we met some friends out for a movie - "The Eye" - which is not typically a movie I would like because well, I just don't.....anyway the movie was about a girl who was blind since the age of 5 and got cornea transplants which caused her to start to see things the way her donor saw things. Now, the movie took a more scary/evil approach but I was able to bring home something....Don 't you just sometimes wish we could see things through "God's eyes". Anyway, my recent prayers are still for healing, but even more focusing on the desire for wisdom and the ability to "See" things more from God's perspective. I am still dealing with so many weird symptoms and feeling different often moment to moment, but I am learning to focus on the bigger picture that there is an ultimate purpose. Don't get me wrong, I am not all happy about things all the time and still have a lot of frustration, but trying to find true joy.
Mayo Clinic update - i am on a waiting list for the Mayo clinic in Florida so that I can get further diagnositc tests and hopefully a clearer answer....Pray that if that is where I am supposed to go next, God will make it available to me and my family.
